Automobile Recycling

Evaluating the environmental attributes of a product requires looking at all stages of a product's life cycle. Observing the complete life cycle of the production, use and disposal of a product helps obtain a clearer and more complete picture of the product's evironmental inventory. It is determined not only by what the product is composed of on the date you buy it, or whether it has recycled content.

Life cycle considers a product's entire life -- "cradle to grave." This information can be used with other factors, such as cost and performance data to help select a product. Never forget the big picture....for more information read LCA 101: Introduction to Life Cycle Assessment.
